NeuroSlice 1.1

NeuroSlice is an interactive neuroanatomy app designed to help users learn about neuroanatomical regions using mapped images of the brain and spinal cord. This educational tool provides detailed insights into nuclei and tracts essential for neurologists, neurosurgeons, medical students, and neuroscience enthusiasts.

In its initial release, NeuroScan features 40 MRI scan images and stained brain sections that have been digitally labeled with anatomical regions. The compact 6MB download size allows for offline browsing convenience.

The app's features include:

• Touch functionality to highlight regions and display their names
• Selecting a region name to highlight the corresponding area
• Database search capability to locate specific regions across images

Accompanied by brief region descriptions, users can access further information via Wikipedia when connected to the internet. Additionally, a beta testing mode offers interactive self-assessment options.
